Stamping is cold extrusion forming of thin plate, cold forging is below the recrystallization temperature of material forming, hot forging is above the recrystallization temperature of forming for the material. Die casting and injection molding is more like, liquid cooling metal in the mould forming. Aluminum extrusion is the flow of metal through the metal mold when the split extrusion.

 The lifespan of the mold is indirectly related to the design of the material used, which can not be generalized. Aluminum extrusion and forging die life is shorter, because the working conditions are terrible.

Generally speaking, aluminum extrusion processing accuracy is higher, while die casting and cold forging are less higher.
